DAV PS, ITPS has witnessed wide range of multifarious activities over the years. Of late our students have distinguished themselves in state level Environment cum Mineral Awareness Programme under the aegis of SGAIT. Master Shreejiit Panda and Master Sashank Sekhar Sahoo have bagged this distinction. Two of our students have won laurels by winning prizes in Quiz Competition organized by Election Commission, Govt. of India. During Republic Day, students won prizes at the district level in English Essay Competition, essay writing, drawing and patriotic song contest.

At zonal level 2018 CCA competition Spandan At Jharsuguda our students distinguished themselves in Group Dance, English Elocution and Science Seminar, Several Occasions, students have performed creditably well in block level science exhibitions. Twice our volleyball players have represented the school at DAV National Sports. Thrice our science students have played an admirable role in National Level Science Congress. The school has been a British Council of India (BCI) awardee for three years. Master S Sudhanshu and N Sambit Suman had the pride of qualifying in the NTSE Examination. The school students have organised rallies on world Environment Day, Anti Drug Day, Save Animals Campaign. Our school examinees have been qualifying in JEE Main and NEET Examinations held countrywide. The school thus continues its tireless striving towards citius, altius and fortius !
